【Use】

Methyl trichlorosilane is the basic raw material of silicone products, which is mainly used to produce methyl trimethoxysilane, methyl triethoxysilane and other crosslinking agents, silicone resin, special paint, building water repellent and gas phase method silica.

【Matters need attention】

Smoke in moist air, soluble in benzene, ether, exposed to open fire, high heat or contact with oxidants, there is a risk of combustion explosion. Heat or water release heat, release toxic corrosive smoke.

【Packing storage】

1. Use dry, clean lined plastic iron drums or plastic drums (230 kg/ drums) sealed packaging or according to customer requirements and comply with safety regulations;

 2. Containers do not leak, collapse, fall or damage during transportation. It is strictly forbidden to mix with strong acid, strong base, strong oxidant, water and edible chemical articles. In transit should prevent exposure, rain. Stopover should be away from fire, heat source, high temperature zone. When handling should be light unloading, to prevent packaging and container damage;

 3. Storage place of methyl trichlorosilane products should be cool, dry, ventilated, away from fire sources and other dangerous goods. In accordance with the standard packaging, transportation and storage conditions, from the date of production, the shelf life of this product is 6 months, overdue can be re-checked according to the standard, inspection results meet the standard requirements, can still continue to use.
