【Standard】
Enterprise standard
【Purpose】
Trimethylchlorosilane is mainly used as an intermediate in the production of organic silicon polymers and other products. It is also used as a raw material for the production of polymer compound sealing agents, desiccants, dehydrators, high-temperature adhesives, and resins. Used for the synthesis of cephalosporin I and cephalosporin V in pharmaceutical production. This product can be used to produce various organic silicon compounds and is the main raw material for producing hexamethyldisilazane and hexamethyldisiloxane. This product can be used to prepare alkylating agents and also as a group protector in pharmaceutical and chemical production.
【 Precautions 】
Smoking in humid air, soluble in benzene and ether, poses a risk of combustion and explosion when exposed to open flames, high heat, or contact with oxidants. When heated or in contact with water, it decomposes and releases heat, releasing toxic and corrosive smoke.
【Packaging, Storage, and Transportation】
1. This product is packaged in a dry and clean lined plastic iron drum or plastic drum (170kg/drum) sealed packaging or according to customer requirements and safety regulations;
2. During transportation, it is necessary to ensure that the container does not leak, collapse, fall, or be damaged. It is strictly prohibited to mix and transport with strong acids, strong alkalis, strong oxidants, water, edible chemicals, etc. During transportation, it should be protected from direct sunlight and rain. When stopping midway, one should stay away from sources of fire, heat, and high temperature areas. Handle with care during transportation to prevent damage to packaging and containers;
3. The storage location of trimethylchlorosilane products should be cool, dry, ventilated, and away from sources of fire and other hazardous materials.
